Brief introduction of SM-F16 Fingerprint reader with wiegand output
SM-F16 fingerprint reader controller is a kind of fingerprint recognition device for door access system. The reading function transmits verified fingerprint information to access controller by the format of Wiegand26 or Wiegand34. The access controller determines legitimacy of the data and acts accordingly. The working principle is similar to common ID/IC card reader and they are completely compatible.
The standard output of SM-F16 fingerprint controller makes it compatible to almost all Wiegand26 and Wiegand34 access controllers in the market. It can also be directly fitted with electronic locks. The result of fingerprint analysis is output by Wiegand signal from the reader, and there is also a relay output, allowing direct control of electronic lock with outside power supply. The fingerprint reader is applicable for both fingerprint and inductive card, convenient for upgrade of any existing or new door access system. This fingerprint recognition device has found the widest application in the door access control sector.

Functions
( 1 ) Extra-large capacity: 1,000 fingerprint users can be registered, and totally 3,800 fingerprints can be saved.Each user is allowed to register several fingerprints, and the number is determined by the user.
( 2 ) Level-9 safety grading, failing rate FRR≤0.0001%, speed of analysis ≤1 second. Safe! Rapid! Reliable!
( 3 ) Adaptation to both fingerprint and inductive card, facilitating system upgrade of existing and new door access control.
( 4 ) Standard Wiegand26 or Wiegand34 output format, compatible to door access controllers , with full compatibility and easy installation./p>
( 5 ) Independent relay output, direct control of electronic lock upon verification of analysis, separate operation with electronic lock + power supply.
( 6 ) Tamper alarm function, on-site alarm and level output, provision of external alarm or connection to 110 network.
( 7 ) Logout for passed analysis for convenient inquiry on last 10 IDs.
( 8 ) Mode of fingerprint analysis access for administrator, supporting direct registration, modification, deletion, setting etc. on the frame.
( 9 ) RS-232 serial port communication, reading/writing of fingerprint information from the reader with dedicated software and setting of relevant parameters, editing of user information in software.
